About

The Center for the School of the Future at USU in cooperation with the Cache Valley Volunteer Center is holding a pledge drive to create social change in Cache Valley and encourage more Cache Valley citizens to volunteer at all the great non-profits that serve our community. We have a goal of 5000 hours to be pledged and completed by the end of the year December 31, 2011.

Our project goals are to increase the volunteerism in Cache Valley by having community members pledge to do service. To educate the community about how to volunteer. To promote the use of the Cache Valley Volunteer Center website. To reward Cache Valley's outstanding volunteers.

National Volunteer Week, April 10-16, 2011, is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. We want you to take action and encourage individuals and their respective communities to be at the center of social change—discovering and actively demonstrating their collective power to foster positive transformation.

People can get involved by pledging service hours to be completed by the end of the year, December 31st 2011. Pledge at My Service Pledge
